BAY BREEZE (Outdoor) POOL AND BEACH MEMBERSHIP
The Bay Breeze Pool & Beach, located behind the Bay Breeze Community Center (formerly the Fort Monroe Club), overlooks the scenic Chesapeake Bay. The Outdoor Pool offers a large slide, diving board, large separate baby pool and direct access to the beach.
Outdoor Pool Size - 30 yards x 20 yards with a maximum depth of 10 feet.Dressing Rooms - Bay Breeze Pool facility has lockers and hot and cold showers. Guests should bring their own locks and towels.
Handicapped Access - Facilities are equipped with parking ramps, wheelchairs and other amenities to make it enjoyable for all guests.

Bluebird Gap Farm offers an exciting, family-oriented adventure and educational experience rarely see in an urban environment. The 60-acre farm has more than 250 domestic and wild animals, including everything from the usual array of farm animals to a bobcat, raccoon, birds of prey, whitetail deer, tortoises, and peacocks. A shelter with 4 picnic tables and charcoal grill is available on a first come, first served basis (user must provide own charcoal). Other picnic tables are placed throughout the farm for guest's convenience. The antique display barn features snack and drink vending machines. Animal feed machines are located in several locations for those wanting a more 'interactive' experience (don’t forget your quarters!). Visitors will enjoy the Hampton Master Gardeners' Display Garden and Arboretum (a work in progress), a large playground and public restrooms, a nature trail, a new stage with seating for special events and activities. Admission is free.
The park is open Wednesday through Sunday from 9am-5pm. The park is closed on all major holidays except Easter.
Directions: I-64 exit 263B onto Mercury Boulevard. Turn right onto Coliseum Drive, follow to stoplight, take right onto Pine Chapel Road. The farm will be on the left.

Experience this beautiful beachfront park!
Bay front park features ¾ mile of clean beach. Kayaks and paddleboats are available for rental. There are two picnic shelters with tables and grills, children's playground, restroom facilities available May 15th through September 15th from 10:00AM - 6:00 PM, a stage pavilion for community events and ample open space. Dogs are not allowed in the park from May 15th to September 15th. Park Rangers are on site year-round.
Vendors are on-site selling food from May 15th through September 15th from 10am until 6pm.
On-site parking is available free for 2 hours. All day parking is available in lots for $2.00 (Buses $5.00) from May 15th through September 15th.
The beach and park are open daily from 7am to sunset.

Gosnold's Hope Park is the second largest developed park in the city consisting of 105 acres. It offers the public eight picnic facilities complete with tables and grills, campsites, restrooms, a public boat ramp, a fitness trail, athletic fields, children's playground, picnic shelters with tables and grills for reservation, and a BMX track. There are 16 Trailer Sites designed for RV use only, no tents are allowed. The space is available 24-hours a day on a first come, first served basis - no reservations are accepted. Campers can stay no more than 14 days in any 30-day period and the $10.40 per night fee includes electricity, water hook-up, access to a shower and sewer dump. Each site features a picnic table and charcoal grill, user must provide own charcoal. Money Orders and Credit Cards are accepted. For additional details call (757) 850-5116.

Grandview Nature Preserve forms the northeast corner of the city of Hampton. The Preserve covers over 475 acres of salt marsh, tidal creeks, and 2-1/2 miles of Chesapeake Bay beachfront. The Preserve is open to the public free, but has limited parking along State Park Drive. It is a a great location to beach comb, observe the migratory birds, and discover the wonders of wetlands. An ideal hiking, fishing, and blueways paddling site. Year-round environmental programs and interpretation are available.
Directions: I-64 exit 263A onto Mercury Boulevard. Take left onto Foxhill Road. Follow to Beach Road and make a left. Follow to end and make a left onto State Park Drive. The Nature Preserve is straight ahead.
Hours of Operation: The Nature Preserve is open year round from sunrise to sunset daily.

Hampton Tennis Center is a full service Municipal Tennis Facility that employs a Managing Pro, Teaching Pro, and trained staff to provide tennis alternatives to suit your needs on its seven clay courts.Our activities range from general court play, organized league play and rated or sanctioned tournament play to custom stringing of your racquet. Our professional instructional staff offers individual lessons, group clinics, and summer camps. It is our goal to make your tennis playing activity a most enjoyable experience.

Long CreekBegin at the entrance of Grandview Nature Preserve and paddle to the northern tip of the preserve to a sandy island, known as Factory Point. This is a good place to rest before you paddle back.

Hampton's premier park is a 456 acre environmental education and wildlife management facility. Born from borrow pits and garbage dumps, the park is truly a success story of reclamation of our natural resources. From the 10,000 square foot nature center overlooking Sandy Bottom Lake to the elusive creatures that inhabit the wetland marshes, there is something for everyone at the Sandy Bottom Nature Park.
A wide variety of education programs can be scheduled with the park. All schools located within the City of Hampton are not charged for these programs - all others can contact us to discuss rates based on the type of program, day of the week, age of the children and size of the group.
