Boo Williams Sportsplex
The 135,000-square-foot, $13.5-million Boo Williams Sportsplex is specifically designed for amateur sporting competition. Tthe center boasts eight hard-wood basketball courts and retractable bleacher seating for 4,000 attendees (6,000 with perimeter seating). Sized for high school basketball competitions, each court measures 84’x 50’.

This flexible sporting venue accommodates such athletic events as basketball, indoor field hockey, and volleyball.

Hampton Coliseum
Known as one of the most recognizable architectural jewels in all of Hampton Roads, the Hampton Coliseum is set on 75 acres adjacent to the Hampton Roads Convention Center. Former home to the ABA and Julius “Dr. J” Erving led Virginia Squires, the arena has hosted a plethora of world-class sporting events and concerts since its 1970 opening.
The stadium is perfect for indoor athletics such as wrestling, basketball, hockey, and gymnastics. Venue amenities include four team dressing rooms, two officials’rooms, full box office with nine ticket windows, press room, first aid room, and eight concession stands. The adjacent Hampton Roads Convention Center adds extra flexibility.

Hampton Roads Convention Center
The Hampton Roads Convention Center, boasting 35 meeting spaces with the capacity for up to 14,000 delegates, as well as a 108,000 square-foot exhibit hall (divisible by three), is the perfect venue for any indoor athletic event. The center is supported by over 2,700 hotel rooms in close proximity, including an award-winning Embassy Suites hotel.
Features include data ports in all rooms/exhibit hall, connectivity throughout the pre-function areas, and plasma directional screens. On-site a/v service provider.

Hampton University Convocation Center
Located on the Hampton University campus, the HU Convocation Center has been hosting athletic events since 1993. Accommodating such indoor sports as basketball, cheerleading, aerobics, fencing, boxing, karate, and wrestling, the center boasts a 14,112 square-foot exhibition floor and ample stadium seating for 7,200 attendees.
Other amenities include a press room, two meeting rooms, loading dock, dressing rooms, and two concession stands.
